Job Summary
The MSD Foundation is a humanitarian and development organization committed to improving lives through initiatives in healthcare, education, empowerment, agriculture, and social welfare. The foundation supports vulnerable populations, including women, children, persons with disabilities, widows, and underserved communities.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all foundation projects to ensure efficient delivery, proper resource management, and measurable social impact. The role requires strong coordination skills, operational discipline, and the ability to manage projects, people, and administrative processes across multiple focus areas.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
• Develop and implement project plans aligned with the foundation’s mission and
strategic objectives.
• Coordinate end-to-end project execution to ensure timely delivery within approved budgets.
• Conduct community needs assessments and recommend sustainable, impact-driven solutions.
Financial & Resource Management
• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets with transparency and accountability.
• Coordinate procurement activities, resource allocation, and proper financial documentation.
• Support fundraising initiatives, proposal development, and donor financial reporting.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with donors, government agencies, NGOs, and community partners.
• Represent the foundation at stakeholder meetings, workshops, field visits, and official engagements.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Track project progress, outputs, and outcomes against agreed performance indicators.
• Prepare periodic narrative and impact reports, capturing lessons learned and best practices.
• Maintain accurate project records to support audits, donor reviews, and internal assessments.
Team Coordination & People Operations
• Coordinate the activities of project staff and volunteers to ensure clarity of roles and accountability.
• Support onboarding, work planning, and day-to-day people operations for project
teams.
• Promote teamwork, performance discipline, and capacity development across teams.
Administrative & Operational Support
• Manage project and foundation documentation, including approvals, reports, and correspondence.
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and operational processes to support smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and regulatory documentation standards.
• Serve as a coordination point between project teams, management, and external partners on operational matters.
Advocacy & Community Engagement
• Lead community outreach and awareness initiatives across health, education, and empowerment programs.
• Advocate for vulnerable groups while promoting inclusion, dignity, and social impact.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s
degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in project coordination or management within
the NGO or development sector.
• Strong experience in budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian and community development work.
